Full black crushed goatskin by Legrain, covers with pattern of parallel curvilinear gouges in blind forming a broad swirling pattern, gilt bordered red onlay ‘A’ stretching across upper and lower covers, spine lettered in gilt, turn-ins with pattern of cross-hatched gilt rules and red and black suede doublures, binders gilt stamp to upper turn-in, abstract gold and silver endpapers, all edges gilt, in grey paper chemise with black goatskin spine label lettered in gilt, black goatskin edged paper slipcase.
