These secret reports were issued to a severely restricted readership. The volumes contain a digest of all the intelligence gathered, be it from interogation, espionage or from the reports of the British Officers directly connected with the vents described, not just from the Hedjaz but from across the Arab world. T.E. lawrence edited the first report. This Archive Edition reprint has a very useful foreword by Prof Robin Bidwell togther with explanatory notes.
