The Bit Between My Teeth. A Literary Chronicle of 1950-1065.
Inscribed by the author on the front blank: “To Father D’Arcy, in memory of our confinement together in Middletown, from Edmund Wilson”. The inscription refers to Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where both Wilson and D’Arcy were visiting fellows for the academic year 1964-5. With the Farm Street ‘Community Library’ label on the front pastedown, otherwise a near fine copy in a slightly nicked dust jacket, with small library label on the lower spine.
