Contemporary red morocco, covers with an elaborate tooled border made up of various rolls including a large urn and flower design, in the centre of the upper board is a green and black morocco onlay which is tooled in gilt with “HENRY BLUNDELL ESQ^R^. / MAYOR, - 1791 / [added later in a smaller ont] 7 1793”; smooth spine tooled in gilt, gilt edges, green silk pastedowns
