CERVANTES (Saavedra, Miguel de).
Don Quixote de la Mancha.

A lovely edition of Charles Jervas’ (mistakenly spelled “Jarvis” on the title page) translation of Cervantes’ most famous work in the original publisher’s boards. Jervas’ translation is widely regarded as the best English translation of Don Quixote.

A very good set. Spine ends with some shelf wear and faint traces of a removed label. Endpapers with some foxing and browning as usual, otherwise contents remarkably clean and bright.
