LEBLANC (Maurice).
The Exploits of Arsène Lupin.
First appearing in 1905 with the publication of Leblanc’s short story entitled, “The Arrest of Arsène Lupin”, Lupin has been described as a “gentleman thief” or the criminal counterpart to Sherlock Holmes (who appeared in many of Leblanc’s stories as “Holmlock Shears”).
A near fine copy of this later edition, translated by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos, thin plastic of dust jacket bubbling along outer spine hinges.
