Ownership signature on the front free endpaper of the author’s only son ‘E.G.Peacock’, who was for a while in the 1840s a member of the Indian Navy. Bookplate of Bradley Martin to the front paste-down, contemporary small circular printed label of the Hookhams. Old re-back with the original spine laid down,, the covers somewhat spotted, endpapers loose, ink spot to the fore edge.
