A HERETIC'S WRITINGS
Originally published in 1552, this is the second edition, sometimes found with a Latin version (but different pagination). In addition to the life of Apollinaris from the Suda, there is a short preface by Nicolaus Goulu (1530-1601) and at the end (pp. 193-199) various paraphrases also in hexameter verse of the Magnificat, the song of Zacharias, the Nunc Dimittis, and (pp. 195-199) a hymn to Christ, all from his pen. He succeeded his father-in-law Dorat as professor at the collège royal.
Hoffmann I, 198.
