Hunger and Public Action.
A collaboration between the Belgian-born Indian welfare and development economist Jean Drèze, son of the economist Jacques Drèze, and the Nobel Prize winning economist Amartya Sen analysing the role of public action in solving the problem of world hunger. The present hardback issue is surprisingly scarce.
From the library of the African American economist Glenn Loury, with his ownership inscription to the front free endpaper.
