GREGYNOG PRESS.

The Lamentations of Jeremiah.

21 wood engravings (5 full page) and book design by Blair Hughes-Stanton, headings and running titles printed in blue. Out of series copy (250 ordinary copies were printed). The space for the numbering of the copy below the colophon has been neatly clipped out in a tiny square, unfortunately this slightly affects the illustration on the other side of the sheet, “out of series” has been written beneath it. Folio, original dark blue Hermitage calf (only 125 copies were bound thus), title and device in blind on upper cover and spine, printed on Japanese vellum, in the original worn card slipcase. Newtown, The Gregynog Press, 1933.

GREGYNOG PRESS.
The Lamentations of Jeremiah.

A very good copy of this handsomely illustrated and printed book with only a few mild marks to the soft leather. The book was used for exhibition purposes but not to its detriment. It was then wrapped up in brown paper and put away at the Press with a typed identifying label which declares that it was an out of series copy for exhibition purposes.
