One of 99 copies, this number 34. 74 drypoint etchings by Marcel Vertès, plus an additional suite with remarques, 15 planches refusées and two original signed pen drawings by Vertès bound in. 4to., [10] 489pp. [3] with separate volume of prints. Finely bound by Georges Cretté in full blue goatskin, the primary volume elaborately tooled in gilt with repeating pattern of curved parallel lines forming a floral motif, spine lettered in silver, orange reversed calf doublures and endpapers, all edges gilt, the volume of plates plainly bound in matching full blue goatskin, both volumes with half blue goatskin chemises over blue and gold decorated paper, spines lettered in gilt, with matching slipcases.
