Some browning and a little spotting in places, front and rear flyleaves torn out, old bookplate untidily torn from the rear marbled pastedown. Contemporary black morocco, covers panelled in gilt with a unusual large flower tool at each corner which features on a number of other Restoration bindings, spine divided into six gilt panels, gilt edges (two small scuffs to the front board, joints a little worn).
