With John Gielgud’s ownership inscription on the third front free endpaper, dated 1932, with the page of characters annotated by Gielgud, listing who played which part, underneath inscribed ‘Arts Theatre, Criterion Theatre 1932-33’, then in a different ink, probably added later, ‘directed by Theodore Komisarjevsky.’. Gielgud’s bookplate to the front free endpaper. Spine torn with some loss at the tail, back cover spotted.
