The Prince of Wales' Tour: A Diary in India; with some Account of the Visits of His Royal Highness to the Courts of Greece, Egypt, Spain, and Portugal.
An account of the tour through India in 1875-6 taken by the Prince of Wales, the future King Edward VII. The author, William Howard Russell (1820-1907), had made his name as a war correspondent in Crimea and was paid £300 per month plus expenses by The Times to accompany the prince and report on their trip.
