Inscribed by the author ‘Elizabeth Bowen for Gene Andrewski’ in black ink to the title page. Bowen’s memoir of her childhood in Dublin, printed by The Cuala Press. Andrewski was at times photographer, theatrical producer and literary journalist: his biggest claim to immortality at this period is however, his collecting activity, and the distant tone of the inscription suggests a solicited inscription.
Neat book label of Jim Edwards, to front pastedown, contents otherwise clean and entirely unopened, an excellent copy.
