Wood-engraved frontispiece, tailpiece and initial letters by William MacCance, printed in black & brown. 250 numbered copies were printed, this one is unnumbered with the words “Out of series” written on the colophon. Folio, original Welsh sheepskin, gilt-lettering to upper cover & spine, fore and bottom edges uncut, unopened. Newtown: The Gregynog Press, 1932.
A good, unopened copy with the usual offset from the turn-ins to the f.f.e.p. This book was wrapped in brown paper and stored by the Press and has not been unwrapped until today, unforutnately there are a couple of wormholes at the base of the spine, otherwise a remarkably clean copy.
