P.T. Barnum, a celebrated American showman and businessman, is best remembered as the founder of the Barnum & Bailey Circus. This book includes reminiscences of early business endeavours and his personal life as well as details of several trips to Europe and many trips around America with his ‘museum’ of freaks, which included General Tom Thumb and the baby elephant Jumbo.
