A collection of short stories with an introduction by Harry Harrison. James Tiptree Jr. was the pen name of Alice Bradley Sheldon, it was not widely known that “Tiptree” was a woman until 1977. This was her first book to be published, originally in an Ace books paperback edition in 1973.
