A wonderful group of images from Scott’s Last Expedition. In addition to Ponting’s stamps, these bear the stamps of Paul Popper, the Czech photographer whose photo agency was established in 1934. Some of pencil captions on the verso indicate use for publication.

Many of the images include views of Mt Erebus, as well as beautiful shots of the pack ice, an iceberg by Cape Evans, a Skua chick, the Terra Nova, and finally, Captain Oates with a pony.
