For Whom the Bell Tolls.

The first edition of Hemingway’s novel set during the Spanish Civil War.

The true first printing, with Scribner’s ‘A’ to the copyright page, and with the correct first issue dust jacket, priced at $2.75 on the front flap and without the photographers name appearing on the rear panel. A very good copy, faint partial offsetting to endpapers, contents slightly toned but unmarked, dust jacket clean and bright with some modest restoration work to extremities.
