A book-length study of Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, with particular reference to its picture theory of language, by the Finnish philosopher Erik Stenius (1911-1990). One of the great philosophical masterpieces of the twentieth century, the Tractatus was originally published in German in 1921 and first translated into English in the following year.
