All’s well. 1880.“\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe barque \u003cem\u003eMaha Buleshwar\u003c\/em\u003e was en route from London to Mumbai when she was wrecked at Ancutta, Laccadive Islands (now Lakshadweep) off the west coast of India. Six of the crew were rescued on August 17, by the \u003cem\u003eMadura\u003c\/em\u003e while another twelve were picked up by the steamship \u003cem\u003eAsh\u003c\/em\u003e on the 26th.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe text is in two parts, the first being an account of the “Sufferings of her Crew”, which provides a dramatic overview of the event.
