ORACLES OF JULIANUS THE THEURGIST TRANSLATED INTO LATIN
First edition of Morel’s Latin translation of these oracles, the Greek text of which was published earlier in the sixteenth century, and in a separate Paris edition in 1538. The earliest Latin translation is by Marsuilio Ficino, and survives in manuscript. Morel produced in 1595 an edition of the Greek text of which this Latin translation, published two years later, would seem to be intended as part 2 (both copies in the BL are bound with the Greek text of 1595, as are the Bodleian copies and that in Christ Church). It was reprinted by Maittaire in 1722 as part of his Miscellanea.
