Cary was in the Nigerian Political Service between 1913 and 1921, and in the Great War went through the Cameroons Campaign of 1915-1916 with the Nigerian Regiment. Faintly spotted on fore-edge, otherwise a near fine copy in dust jacket, lightly faded on the spine.
