Front cover slightly dust, but an excellent copy. A rare early juvenile book (one copy only listed on OCLC, another probably buried in the single run of the Dean “All About” series) by the wonderfully diverse artist, author, inventor and social pioneer John Hargrave. Hargrave, inter alia, became the lead cartoonist for the major London evening newspaper at the age of 17, founded the scouting movement “Kibbo Kift”, and was a prominent supporter of Major Douglas’s “Social Credit” movement.
