[Architectural visualisation for a hotel in the Arabian Peninsula.]

A handsome design for a luxury hotel in the Arabian Peninsula, created by the Parisian architects EPTA International.

In September 1983 the firm won a contract to build a Sheraton Hotel in Ruwi (Muscat), a project undertaken in partnership with Fillod Constructions Metalliques (a pioneering designer of prefabricated metal construction). This visualisation, however, appears to show a hotel proposed for a location in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf. The surrounding housing is most typical of the small villas constructed in the United Arab Emirates in the late 1970s.
