Inscribed by the author on the title page: “for Roger, the story of my life, for you, Adrian Henri”. Loosely inserted is an a.p.s. from the author to Roger, c.35 words, apologising for the delay in sending the book: “Lovely to re-visit the pub, sausages + all there …”. The recipient was the landlord of the Sow & Pigs in Teddington. A near fine copy.
