YEATS (W.B.)
Broadsides. A Collection of Old and New Songs.
Signed by the editors W. B. Yeats and F. R. Higgins at the end of their introduction on Anglo-Irish Ballads as issued.
A complete set of the new (second) series edited by W. B. Yeats. Three of the songs in this series are by W. B. Yeats, ten are traditional and the other eleven are by F.R. Higgins, Frank O’Connor, Lynn Doyle, Padraic Colum, James Stephens, Michael Moran and Bryan Guiness. This is the first series to be edited by W. B. Yeats, who was also responsible the 1937 third series.
A near fine copy, some trivial shelf wear to extremities, just a hint of faint spotting to printed label to front cover and fore edge of text block but otherwise internally clean and unmarked.
