A collation of the astronomical and meteorological observations from German expeditions in East Africa, including the Sudan, northern Abyssinia and eastern Egypt. In addition to von Heuglin, Kinzelbach, Munziger and Steudner’s expeditions are included.
The frontispiece is by J.M. Bernatz, who also served on the Harris expedition.
