Published in America in the same year, an autobiographical account of the discovery of the structure of DNA, being a major scientific advancement for which Watson, Hick and Wilkins won the Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1962. The book has since been criticised for its failure to properly credit the role of Rosalind Franklin as an important contributor to the discovery of the Double Helix who’s work had largely gone uncredited until relatively recently.
A very good copy, faint spotting to endpapers, contents otherwise generally clean, slight lean to text block, only light shelf wear to extremities of jacket.
