Many of the well known images are here in good condition and well captioned: The Ultimatum, Melville and Coghill’s graves, Roorke’s Drift, Isandhwana soon after the action (i.e. before Obelisk), Centre of the Neck, Across the Neck Durban Street views, Utrecht in the Transvaal, Drafts of the 24th joining to replace those who fell at Isandhwana the Rorke’s House, Cemetery Durban, Prince Imperial’s funeral procession, Gerneral Pearson’s camp Eshowe, Fort Pearson. Ohami’s wives and daughters, Ohami and Induna… etc. etc. Including a Lloyd of Natal Cabinet photo, inscribed on the reverse Henry Lloyd Military Official Photographer during Zulu War [?]
