A very good copy of this important narrative and illustrative account of Scott’s Last Expedition. Ponting’s inscription reads: “Sincerely Yours, H.G. Ponting British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-13.”

Ponting retained many of his best images for his own work rather than having them reproduced in the official account of 1913.
