One of 150 copies on velin Madagascar-Lafuma, this being number 86. 36 illustrations by Maurice Lalau printed in colour, described by Lalau as the first use of a technique of his own invention called ‘graphichromy’. 4tp., 31 x 24cm, 130pp [14], 36 plates. Bound in full brown goatskin by George Canape and George Corriez, with narrow central panel of onlaid red, burgundy, orange, gold and gilt fillets forming an intersecting diamond pattern, spine in six compartments lettered in gilt, turn-ins with double gilt rules, upper turn-in with binders gilt stamp, brown moire silk endpapers, a.e.g., with paper covered slipcase and chemise.
