Original red cloth, spines lettered and ruled in gilt, front covers with single blind fillet borders, bottom edges untrimmed (ownership inscription on front free endpapers and neat ownership stamp on title-pages, just a hint of occasional faint spotting to blank margins, contents otherwise generally clean; extremites rubbed, spines somewhat faded, rear hinge of Vol. 2 split, still a decent set).
