A presentation copy, inscribed by the author to Margo Ewart (née Bennett), the widow of the British poet Gavin Ewart, in black ink to the title page: ‘To Nargo, love, Wendy (see page 213)’. With an additional Autograph Card Signed loosely inserted from Wendy Cope to Margo Ewart, with Cope writing, “I thought you [Margo] should have a copy of this because it includes my piece about Gavin…”
A near fine copy, spine ends with a bit of wear.
