CARNAP (Rudolf).
The Logical Structure of the World and Pseudoproblems in Philosophy.
The first English translation of the author’s first book, a central document of analytical philosophy and crucial to the formation of ‘logical positivism’, originally published in German in 1928 under the title Der logische Aufbaau der Welt.
Rudolf Carnap (1891-1970) is considered one of the major philosophers of the Vienna Circle; The Logical Construction of the World, is his ‘most detailed and influential statement of a project in general epistemology’ (Richardson, p. 1), and drew inspiration from Russell and Whitehead’s Principia Mathematica.
