First edition. 8vo. yellow pictorial cloth, stamped in black. London: A. D. Innes & Co., 1895.
The cover and title-page design is itself a parody of Beardsley and the Keynotes series, tentatively attributed by Lasner (217) to Thomas Downey (TD monogram lower right). The author’s first book; he was later better known as Arthur Compton Rickett. Darkened spine and some light soiling to the binding, upper for edge corner bumped, otherwise nice copy.
