Edward Austin Gossage Robinson’s (1897-1993) influential textbook on competitive industry, published as volume XI of the Cambridge Economic Handbooks series under the editorship of C.W. Guillebaud, who succeeded editorship of the series from Keynes.
Husband of Joan Robinson, E.A.G. Robinson ‘was a member of the Cambridge ‘circus’ which helped Keynes make The General Theory (1936). He was Keynes’s close and trusted colleague for many years. His editing (with Elizabeth Johnson and Donald Moggridge) of the thirty volumes of Keynes’s Collected Writings secured Keynes’s legacy to future generations’ (ODNB).
