The Mystique of Vellum

Fine.

A beautiful example of a binding by father and son James and Stuart Brockman. ‘The design is based on the shape of the colophon with a specially made “open book” intaglio tool and a small scroll tool used to accentuate the rays radiating from the red onlays in the design.’
