ANDERSSON (Charles John), &
LLOYD (L.) editor.
Notes of Travel in South Africa.
With the bookplate of Henry Arthur Blyth of the wine and spirit merchants W. & A. Gilbey.
An interesting account of Andersson’s travels through German South West Africa to the Cunene River, with notes on the native wild life. An injury sustained battling the Namaquas largely prevented Andersson’s participating in any big game hunting, although there is a chapter on hunting leopard. Mendelssohn (1979) I, p66; cf. Czech, p6.
