WILSON (Edmund).
O Canada. An American's Notes on Canadian Culture.
Inscribed by the author on the front blank: “To V.S. Pritchett, with the best regards of Edmund Wilson, April 19, 1965”, with Pritchett’s posthumous book label on the front free endpaper. Wilson’s enthusiastically bilious contempt for English literary culture excluded Cyril Connolly and Victor Pritchett, both of whom were friends of long-standing. Covers slightly rubbed, otherwise an excellent copy.
