A very good copy preserving rear panel of original glassine jacket, front lacking, cloth spine very slightly faded, light spotting to foredge of text block and a couple of thumb creases to early leaves, otherwise internally fine.

First published in 1937, without Eliot’s introduction. W.H. Auden described it as ‘the greatest book about the first world war’.
