Respectueusement, Jean Anouilh Août 1963.” The recipient, who as Nina Sturdee had been Churchill’s private secretary for much of the 1950s, had married Lord Onslow only the year before. Why this should make her the father of his daughter is not entirely clear. An excellent copy, cloth unevenly browned with some pale soiling to tail of spine.
