Wood engravings by Reynolds Stone, printed in black and white. One of 400 copies, of which twenty were specially bound at the Gregynog Bindery. 8vo., xvi, [1], 37, [3], 12.5 x 18cm. Original publisher’s half red Morocco over blue paper boards, upper board with pink printed paper label with design by Reynolds Stone, spine lettered in gilt and joints tooled in blind, buff paper dustjacket with design and lettering again by Stone, printed in red. Newtown, Gregynog Press, 1938.
Very good, dustjacket bright apart from light browning to spine, which is endemic and no doubt the result of the Morocco spine beneath, final 9 leaves foxed, but otherwise internally bright and presentable.
