A later work by the Swedish economist Gustav Cassel which ‘established his position as an exceptionally capable early econometrician’ (Walker, Walrasian Economics, p. 292). Cassel was one of the most influential economists of the early twentieth century who, together with Knut Wicksell and David Davidson, was the founder of modern economics in Sweden.
