With printed notice of limitation tipped in – “of this book 400 copies have been printed, of which only 200 are for sale” – signed by the author. It seems logical to assume that the copies with the notice comprise a second issue intended for sale, after the first 200 had been dispensed by the author. Fragments missing to dustwrapper, a very good copy of a fragile item.
