This two volume set is a fully illustrated English-Japanese vocabulary. Each English word is printed in alphabetical form together with the approximate pronunciation in katakana. The Japanese is given in kanji and kana and both are accompanied by illustrations that are full of the eagerness to communicate with the newly opened world. Rare.
