A distinguished copy, formerly belonging to Geoffrey Ingleton and Ted Benttinen.

The preface states that that these notes were abridged from Rosser’s South Atlantic Directory, which didn’t appear for another four years. The directions give “the Principal Ports of call, and for the Islands, to which is appended a Catalogue of all the doubtful Islands, Rocks, and Shoals.”

The folding maps are titled “South Atlantic Currents” and the “South Atlantic [Track Chart].” Both include the South Shetland Islands. On page 26 includes a section “Caution respecting Sailing in the Iceberg Region.”
