The copy of Everard Meynell, son of Wilfrid, with his large bookplate, and the later ownership inscription and bookplate of author and collector Vincent Starrett. A short poem (of no great distinction, on the death of a young woman) is transcribed on the front free endpaper, and an ALS (of 24 Nov 1923) from Meynell to Starrett says that while he remembers its presence there he has no idea how it got there.
