This copy includes 2 pencil sketches probably by Daniell laid in (4 river vessels on one sheet, one on the other).Daniell accompanied Dr. Somerville and John Barrow on an expedition into the interior of South Africa. Their expedition reached Lataku, the furthest point reached by Europeans at that time. All of the images in this work were drawn on the expedition.
